This blogging thing...

So I've really resisted this blogging thing - for a few different reasons. For one thing, I'm pretty light on time these days and I hope I'll find the moments and motivation to keep it updated and worthwhile for the purposes of journaling. For another I've sort of considered myself a journaling purist and feel like there's a lot to be said for the process of writing longhand in a bound book. But I suppose I'll still do that, there are plenty of things I'm not willing to put "out there". :) I also don't want it to seem like a plea for attention to my personal life, thoughts, general goings-on, ya know? I don't intend to announce to the world that I have this blog so I guess whoever finds it, finds it *shrug*. I just like to write, get it out, preserve it for pondering another time, and I guess that's what it comes down to; creating this as a tool for accomplishing that. So if you're here, well thanks and welcome to my life out loud. :)
